In the eleventh year of Hongwu, on the day the princes are sent to their fiefdoms,

Prince Zhu Shuang of Qin publicly points out the dangers of enfeoffing the princes, enraging Zhu Yuanzhang.

Thanks to Empress Ma pleading for him, his punishment is only to be reassigned as Prince of Yue, with Xiamen Island as his fiefdom...

The fifteenth year of Hongwu.

After four years of hard work, Zhu Shuang has finally developed the whole of Xiamen Island.

The people live in peace and prosperity, and everyone is ready for battle!

When Empress Ma falls gravely ill, she begs Zhu Yuanzhang to summon Zhu Shuang back. Softened by her plea, Zhu Yuanzhang agrees.

But the messenger sent to deliver the imperial decree is stopped by Xiamen's guards for carrying weapons.

"His Highness has ordered that everyone entering the city within Xiamen's borders must surrender their weapons!"

When Zhu Yuanzhang hears about it, he flies into a rage: "You rebellious son! You dare stop an imperial envoy, and you still claim you haven't rebelled?"
