I’m a Treacherous Minister, and from the Start I Blew Through the Empress’s Treasury!

Yang Chen arrives in this world and becomes the Minister of Revenue under Her Majesty the Empress. He unexpectedly awakens the strongest top-up System: the more he spends, the stronger he gets. So he sets his sights on the Empress's money.

Wu Zhao: "You fool! Where's my money? How dare you steal from my treasury and spend it?"

Yang Chen: "How can the work of the Minister of Revenue be called stealing?"

Wu Zhao: "Rebel! Put down my private savings at once!"

Yang Chen: "Your Majesty, do you know what the most painful thing in life is?"

"Dying with money left unspent!"

"I'm just easing your pain. That's not unreasonable, is it?"

Wu Zhao: "???"

Years later,

the Empress is beside herself with rage.

"You corrupt minister promised you'd pay me back!"

Yang Chen: "We're family. Talking about money hurts our feelings!"
