Hong Kong Films: You Back Chen Haonan, Then Make Me Take the Fall?

Ye Junwen transmigrates to Hong Kong Island in the 1980s and goes undercover in the Hung Hing Triad. From the start, he takes the blame for his boss, Ah B, and serves time in Stanley Prison.

He thought prison would be a chance to learn the ropes and that he could rise to become a boss after getting out. Instead, he became a pawn, pushed to the center of the storm by the gang.

Jiang Tiansheng and Ah B are determined to groom Chan Ho-nam for the top spot, obstructing Ye Junwen at every turn!

His superior, Wong Chi-shing, applies relentless pressure, threatening to expose his identity unless he gathers evidence of the gang's crimes.

Ye Junwen has no choice. There's no future in being a low-level gangster. I just want to make money. Since you're all playing it this way, then let's all go down together!

Over the next ten years, Ye Junwen establishes factories, opens banks, builds schools, develops real estate, and does charity work.

From police undercover agent to business tycoon, people call him a big shot, a philanthropist, a real estate mogul, and a financial oligarch...

Ye Junwen says, "I'm just an ordinary patriotic businessman. I'm really not some underground emperor."
