A Mage's Journey to Save the World

You are a student at a wizarding academy.

"Language is sacred. It is the shell of the human soul," the professor lectures grandly during Charms class. "As wizards, we are born with the ability to embed magic in language. That makes it important to choose a language you're good at as the foundation for your spells. But keep in mind..."

Perhaps the professor's accent was enchanted with a sleeping spell. By now, you have slumped over your desk and lost consciousness. But that's all right. You've already heard plenty of useful information. Confidently, you choose your native language as the basis for your spells.

You place the quill in your hand against the blackboard. Once it is dipped in ink, you wave it with force.
