The Hero and the Sword in the Stone

Legend says that whoever pulls the Sword in the Stone is the chosen hero, destined to save the village and take up the holy sword to slay the dragon. That's what they say, but your village hasn't had a hero in seven hundred years.

Every child in the village tries to pull the Sword in the Stone for their coming-of-age ceremony, but every attempt ends in failure.

A hero, as it turns out, isn't really all that important.

You were born with extraordinary strength, and the village elders have placed great hopes in you. Today is your coming-of-age ceremony. You walk toward the golden greatsword buried in the stone, take a deep breath, and grip its hilt tightly with both hands.

Even the toughest rock can't stop you from moving forward. At last, the sword is yours!
