Great Ming: I Told You to Be Self-Disciplined! You Came Up with Self-Discipline Literature

Zhu Shuang, the Second Prince and the Ming Dynasty's number-one playboy, is told by the imperial physician from the start that if he keeps living this way, he doesn't have long to live!

The old Zhu panics and decides to reform Zhu Shuang's rakish ways.

Old Zhu: You little rascal! You're grounded! You can come out when you decide to give up women, wine, and revelry!

After seven days and nights in confinement, Zhu Shuang has an epiphany! He awakens the Self-Discipline System!

Zhu Shuang: Father! I've decided to mend my ways. I'll study horsemanship, music, and books every day, and spend time at the Hanlin Academy. I shall be self-disciplined!

Old Zhu rubs his hands together in relief. Such refined interests! There's still hope for my son!

But when Old Zhu learns the truth, tears stream down his face.

He studies horsemanship every day, but it's the board game Go!

He reads every day, but it's about never losing at the gambling tables!

He goes to the academy every day, but it's the Yihong Courtesan House!

Old Zhu breaks down: Son, you call this self-discipline!?

Zhu Shuang: Father, I call it self-discipline literature.

Old Zhu gives up! Until one day...
