Lin Feng the Martial Artist

In a world of martial artists, martial arts are divided into eight ranks. Those in the lower four ranks are considered warriors with superhuman strength. The upper four ranks are, in order: the fourth-rank Diamond Realm, where one's body is as solid as rock and ordinary people can barely hurt them; the third-rank Celestial Phenomena Realm, which lets one control one of the four elements of wind, fire, energy, and earth; the second-rank Carefree Realm, which lets one control all four; and the first-rank Celestial Realm, where one can live for a thousand years and wield immense power.

Many kingdoms vie for power, and the martial-minded Qin is poised to conquer the world. But the Qin are brutal and cruel, so many kingdoms rise up against them, though plenty also submit. The kingdoms form an alliance to weaken Qin and end the fighting. In the first year of the Zhaoxiang era, Bai Di of Qin, at the peak of the second-rank Carefree Realm, unleashed the Flame Formation, killing 400,000 Zhao soldiers defending their homeland. The boy Lin Feng and his younger sister are reduced to slavery. Through hardship, he will grow strong.
