Afterword to The Wild and Arrogant Immortal-Demon Path: Qing Yi's Return

We all know that a System is an intangible presence. But who could have guessed that the System exists precisely to fulfill the lingering obsessions in people's hearts?

In the eyes of readers outside the book, Shen Qingqiu's original fate, having his limbs torn off and ending up as a human stick, is terrifying enough. But what about Yue Qingyuan being pierced by ten thousand arrows, or Liu Qingge going mad from cultivation deviation? As readers, we only get a few brief lines about them in the book, so why would we rather face “Bing-ge” than see those things happen...

Or perhaps nothing ever changed, and Shen Yuan was still Shen Jiu.

Everyone knows Shen Jiu is a scumbag, a lowlife, an unforgivable sinner. What they don't know is that his tenderness had been buried deep in his bones ever since he said, “I'm not waiting anymore.”

People are good by nature at birth. Their natures may be similar, but their habits grow far apart. Two lives, two sets of circumstances, two very different destinies, and vastly different temperaments. Perhaps Shen Yuan, controlled by the System, was led by the influence of a fate that reads like a script, down the path of the life written by Airplane...

Perhaps the moment he opened Proud Immortal Demon Way, its arrogant ending had already been sealed. In a twisted story, how many truths remain unknown?
