This Director Gets Things Done: He Really Builds Roads While Filming a Poverty-Alleviation Drama

Lu An transmigrated to a parallel world and became an employee in the publicity department of a charitable foundation.

From the start, his beautiful boss ordered him to make a promotional film about poverty alleviation.

He'd only meant to shoot a quick short film and get it over with, but instead he became bound to the Charity Director System.

As long as he did charity work, he could gain god-tier directing skills and screenplays.

And so...

While filming A Splendid Landscape, he built bridges and roads for remote mountain villages, turning one into the best village in the country!

While filming Lost and Love, he helped over a hundred families find their abducted children!

While filming Dying to Survive, he developed an affordable, highly effective leukemia drug and drove outrageously expensive Western medicines out of the market!

When an accidental interview exposed the piles of thank-you letters and medals filling an entire warehouse, the whole country was stunned.

Beautiful Boss: I asked you to make a promotional film, and you became a global ambassador for charity?

Audience: This director is the real deal. He makes public service films and actually does public service!
