You Asked Me to Make a Poverty-Alleviation Drama, So I Built the Nation's Number One Village

Lu An transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes an employee in the publicity department of a charitable foundation.

From the start, his beautiful boss orders him to make a promotional film about poverty alleviation.

He only plans to shoot a quick little short film to get the job done, but then he binds with a Charity Director System.

As long as he does charity work, he can gain god-tier directing skills and scripts.

So...

To make The Land Is So Beautiful, he builds bridges and roads in remote mountain villages, turning one into the best village in the country!

To make Lost and Love, he helps more than a hundred families find their abducted children!

To make Dying to Survive, he develops an affordable miracle drug for leukemia and drives Western medicines with sky-high prices out of the market!

During an unexpected interview, a reporter reveals the piles of thank-you letters and medals filling a warehouse that belong to Lu An, and the whole country is stunned.

Beautiful Boss: I asked you to make a promotional film, and you became a global ambassador for charity?

Audience: This director is the real deal. When he makes a public-service film, he actually does public service!

Other directors: "We just make movies. Lu An is different. He's the real protagonist, the real hero!"
