Mirror Universe

It all began when the previous King Zhou fought for the Investiture of the Gods to claim Daji. Back then, Daji's former incarnation as a nine-tailed fox was the driving force behind the Nuwa lineage's promotion of the Investiture of the Gods. This directly caused King Zhou to lose the place on the list that should have been his.

Jiang Ziya altered fate through feng shui, knowing that every cycle of reincarnation must bring a calamity. Ji Fa should have occupied a corresponding position, but Jiang Ziya's actions changed the fate of Ji Fa's descendants. A cataclysm was also destined to befall the feng shui of the world, one that would threaten the survival of all living beings.

As a result, the rankings on the later Investiture of the Gods list, as well as the judgments of merit and fault, were nothing like what had originally been agreed upon.
