Urban: The Lazy Master and His Sneaky Disciples

Daxia, at the foot of Mount Kunlun.

An old, dilapidated Taoist temple is home to a master and his five young disciples.

The master is a lazy good-for-nothing with no dreams or ambitions.

His disciples are all lively, but specialize in playing the fool.

The story begins during summer vacation that year.

A vengeful spirit appears in a small mountain village.

The disciples are at a loss and beg their master to come down from the mountain.

A story from sixty years ago is brought to light.

"You said you'd protect me for a lifetime. Why did you betray me?"

One tale of cause and effect after another is then uncovered.

Until one year, when drought ravages the south, floods inundate the north, and earthquakes strike one after another.

After thousands of years of doing nothing, the master finally decides to leave the mountain.

"Master, why are you fishing here?"

"I'm waiting for someone."
