The Final Echo

The red moon rises, and ghosts roam the night.

"Shh. Don't go out at night. That's a warning..."

That's simply how this world works. After one in the morning, the bright moon is replaced by a blood-red one, its scarlet light taking the place of silver as it shines over the land. That's when monsters have their time: a hundred ghosts roam and supernatural forces run wild. It happens every night for three hours, until four, when all returns to peace.

As the saying goes: Stay home after one in the morning, shut the doors and windows, and don't make a sound.

No one knows why it works, but as long as you follow this rule, nothing will go wrong.

People go about their lives by day and leave the night to the supernatural.
