Hong Kong Films: A Son Supporting His Father Is Only Natural

For gangland kingpins, Hong Kong in the 1980s was the best of times. For ordinary people, though, it was also the worst of times.

Ye Wenjun is reborn in Hong Kong, a place where cruelty and opportunity coexist, and a world where countless Hong Kong films have blended together.

His father lovingly protected him through the first half of his life. Now he will spend the second half holding up the whole world for his father.

Will people say, "Look, that's the son of so-and-so," or, "Look, that's Mr. Ye Wenjun's father"?

Will he rise above the crowd and live a carefree life, or hide under his father's name and amount to nothing?

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
