Siheyuan: A High-Relief Monk Who Specializes in Punishing Beasts

Tang Huaiyi transmigrates and becomes an enlightened monk.

A great flood washes away his temple, leaving him no choice but to return to the courtyard compound.

The scoundrels there eye him greedily and come straight to his door, ready to kick over the merit box.

As an enlightened monk with compassion in his heart, he will use love to reform this bunch of beasts!

Yi Zhonghai: "Master, I want to become a monk!"

Silly Zhu: "I'm done with the mortal world! I never want to suffer for love again. Master, please take me in!"

Bang Geng: "As the courtyard compound's notorious thief, I've committed grave sins. I'll spend the rest of my life atoning for them through spiritual cultivation!"

With a heart as compassionate as a bodhisattva's, Tang Huaiyi turns the courtyard compound into a harmonious home where everyone seeks goodness, eats vegetarian food, and chants Buddhist prayers.

Granny Deaf: "What kind of courtyard compound is this anymore? You might as well rename it the Temple Compound!"
