I Just Became an Expert, and Gen Z Are Already Suggesting I Build a Lithography Machine

After years of hard study, Li Qiu earns his doctorate, stays on to teach, and finally becomes an expert professor. Delighted, he starts a livestream to share his study tips and offer advice to young people.

But before Li Qiu can even offer a suggestion, the post-2000 generation, having already sorted out workplace problems, turns its attention to the chaos among experts: "You're so young. Are you sure you're a real expert?"

"Hold on before you start giving advice. Here's a suggestion from me: experts should stop giving suggestions!"

"If experts are so brilliant, go build a lithography machine for the country before you start giving advice!"

On his very first day as an expert, Li Qiu gets called out by the post-2000 generation in his livestream. His stubborn streak kicks in.

"You say I need to build a lithography machine before I can give advice? Fine, I agree!"

The story spreads across the internet in no time, sparking a huge uproar. Everyone waits to see how Li Qiu will get out of this.

Months later, just as everyone assumes that expert Li Qiu has quit the internet and will never dare to give advice again, the Dragon Academy of Sciences solemnly announces that Li Qiu has successfully developed a domestically made 2nm lithography machine. The whole internet erupts!

Netizens: "God Qiu, whatever advice you have, go ahead. We'll listen on our knees."
