The Road to Redemption That Never Was

Millions of years ago,

a monkey standing on two legs gazed up at the stars

and already feared the threat of visitors from beyond the heavens.

Hundreds of years ago,

a technological explosion gave humanity mastery over the skies and the earth.

In the depths of the universe, they imagined an intangible being,

made ten thousand guesses about it,

and even began developing a planetary defense system.

But everyone overlooked one thing:

the ground beneath their feet was the most dangerous place of all.

Annihilation...

returned again and again.

Tens of thousands of years ago,

it arrived as a meteorite and wiped out the most powerful life-form on the planet.

Thousands of years ago, it unleashed a plague in Europe upon people who had fallen out of step with the times, leaving millions dead.

Did a prehistoric civilization exist?

What is Annihilation?

Does humanity deserve to be saved?

This book will reveal all the answers.
