After the Universe Shuts Down

At the end of the Christian era, mankind generally realized that there was a lower yet higher world, and that our universe was probably designed. So people began to pursue skills that transcended this world that may not be real - miraculous skills, in order to obtain eternal life. Nine hundred and eighty-nine years later, the last remaining purebred Homo sapiens specimen unexpectedly awakened and began her journey of discovery and ascension in the new world of the future. However, she is not seeking eternal life, but just wants to resurrect a loved one. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
