Kaifeng, Great Song: I Opened a Ghostly Court Across from Bao Zheng

"There are no ghosts in this world. Ghosts can't possibly exist, so don't worry, Your Majesty!"

Zhang Guhua stood before Emperor Renzong of Song, Zhao Zhen, and declared this with absolute confidence.

"Ding! Congratulations, Host. You have completed the mission. The City God Temple is now fully operational."

Uh...

System, could you at least not be a beat late?

Seated on the dragon throne, Emperor Renzong clapped his hands and laughed. "Excellent! I have always hated this talk of monsters and ghosts. Guhua, you have done well!"

Um, Your Majesty, is it too late to take back what I said?

"Ding! Congratulations, Host, on successfully preventing the gates of the underworld from opening. The Yellow Springs Road is now open."

After binding the last vicious ghost with his soul-snaring rope, Zhang Guhua sat outside the yamen, utterly devastated.

Your Majesty, I want to take back what I said!!!
