Half-Immortal of the Mountain Village

The story is about a fortune-teller from a mountain village. Though he is no expert in the arts of divination, people will travel thousands of miles to seek him out. He can handle all kinds of strange, supernatural, and troublesome affairs, from lifting the curse of a haunting spirit to choosing an auspicious date. He can divine anything from a person's past and future to the tiniest everyday matters, like a missing trinket. Weddings and funerals, building a house, opening a business, relocating a grave, digging a well: there is nothing he does not know. He is not quite an immortal, but a "half-immortal."
