Heshu Shuzhi Gaogei is the seventeenth volume of the Heshu series. It mainly tells the story of a young monarch who upholds an innocent heart, from ascending the throne to going through several baptisms, and finally becomes an emperor with unpredictable grace and power. The protagonist Ai Yun is the legitimate son of the seventh generation of the royal family. He is sensitive in nature, gentle in nature, and has a compassionate heart for others. Because of this, he longs for the company of brothers and friends. He hopes to build a fair and clear world, but he does not understand that making friends is not something that emperors can do. What he enjoyed was exploited by his trusted ministers, betrayed by his clan cousins, and he gradually gave up on himself and fled into the palace to hide from the world. He wasted no time in government affairs and indulged in wine and sex. This made the people of the world begin to wonder: Is the lofty monarch in front of me still qualified to sit on this throne? This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
