I Asked You to Make a Rom-Com, So Why Did You Make a Thriller?

Ji Tian transmigrates to a world where everyone watches idol dramas. Here, no matter how famous an actor is, they only make idol dramas.

So Ji Tian awakens the Director System and secretly starts filming a suspense series without telling anyone.

Before the show premieres, everyone thinks it's going to be a hit idol drama because the director has called it a fantasy romance.

But they have no idea that the very first episode will blow them away from the start.

Viewers: "What happened to the fantasy romance we were promised?"

Ji Tian: "It starts with a time loop. What could be more fantastical?"

Just as everyone assumes the show will get terrible ratings, the TV station is buried under ten boxes of letters demanding more episodes.

When East Palace and One and Only appear, the viewers who used to watch only idol dramas want nothing more than to send Ji Tian razor blades every day.
