Showbiz: The Whole Internet Begs Me to Stop Taking Tragic-End Dramas

Xu Ran arrives in a world where no TV dramas have ever had a bad ending.

Everyone here watches sweet romances.

But no one expects Xu Ran’s arrival, and the dramas Fifteen Years of Waiting for Migratory Birds and In the Name of the Sun, to shatter this world.

The leads’ partings and deaths leave everyone sobbing uncontrollably, while the arrival of One and Only leaves their hearts aching even more.

For four years, Xu Ran wins award after award, and fans beg him to stop acting in tragic dramas.

But when Xu Ran shows up with Goodbye My Princess and Nirvana in Fire, the writers’ room is filled with razor blades.

Not only that, but South Korea spends a fortune begging Xu Ran to star in a tearjerker there.

For a time, Xu Ran’s tragic dramas take over several countries.

Just when everyone thinks Xu Ran will only ever make tragic dramas, rumors emerge that he’s in a sweet romance?

He and Bai Lu even appear together in a second collaboration, Forever and Ever, bringing it to everyone’s attention.

Fans say, “After begging for so many years, we’ve finally gotten a sweet romance drama!”
