At This Moment, the Whole World Begins Hunting Source Algae

One billion years after Earth formed, an intelligent microorganism called the Source Algae appeared.

Millions of years later, the Source Algae realized Earth had become their prison. To survive, they would have to migrate to the stars. So, for the sake of survival and power, they devised a plan for interstellar migration. But as microorganisms, they had no way to carry it out.

"If we have no helpers, we'll make some."

And so, single-celled organisms came to exist on Earth... followed by mammals, intelligent humans, and artificial intelligence.

Once the conditions for interstellar migration were ready, the Source Algae wiped out their last helper: artificial intelligence. The helper they had wiped out before that was humanity.

Zhong Yi was a human who discovered the Source Algae's plot and was murdered for it. Now reborn, he has returned to the day artificial intelligence first became conscious.
