Simulator System: Evolving from a Venus Flytrap

Five hundred years ago, Europe's industrial steam spread to White America, bringing destruction to the indigenous civilizations there.

The ruined ancient civilization laid a curse upon the world. A gray mist spread out from White America and covered the globe. Wherever it passed, all life withered away.

Strangely, the mist halted at the borders of Xia Country, leaving it as the sole surviving fruit of Blue Star civilization.

One day in 2022, Ye Xiaolong, a hapless construction worker, suddenly had a dream. In it, he became a Venus flytrap*

And not just any Venus flytrap: he could evolve.

Before long, Ye Xiaolong discovered he was in an unknown continent, a place where nothing appeared in any official records.

Where was he?

It was a homeland known as the Divine Land.

A blessed land where some savages made their living.

Until one day, the invaders' ships came ashore...
