Journey to the West: I Just Became the Dragon King, and Now the Monkey Wants Weapons?

He transmigrates as Ao Sheng, son of the East Sea Dragon King, and spends 300 years in seclusion, blessed with heaven-defying talent.

After a breakthrough, Ao Bing passes the Dragon King's throne to him and entrusts him with the task of reviving the dragon race.

Are you kidding me?

Do you think the dragon race today is still what it was a million years ago?

In the eyes of the Celestial Court, today's dragons are nothing but watchdogs. When the mood strikes, they're even treated as prized delicacies. And you want me to revive the dragon race?

Just then, a shrimp soldier reports in.

"Great King, Great King! A monkey has come to the gate. He says he's a neighbor from Flower-Fruit Mountain and wants to borrow a weapon!"

Oh, damn! I've been in seclusion for 300 years, and the Journey to the West calamity has already begun?

You all think the dragon race has fallen and can be bullied?

Then bring it on!

Sun Wukong: "Life in the Dragon Palace is great! The Dragon King is my big brother. I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying right here in the Dragon Palace!"

Jade Emperor: "Dragon King Ao Sheng refuses to pay tribute? Am I going to have to go without dragon liver? What? He wants my seven daughters to be his pets, too?"

Tathagata: "The rise of Buddhism after the Journey to the West is Heaven's will. How dare a little wicked dragon stand in the way? What the hell, why is he at my doorstep?"
