Journey to the West: Snatching Buddhist Fortune and Taking Sun Wukong as My Disciple

Lin Xiao transmigrates into the Primordial World, becomes a disciple of the Heavenly Lord of the Primordial Beginning, and awakens the Fortune Plundering System.

He directly connects to the Buddhist sect's pillar of fortune, sending his cultivation soaring and earning countless treasures.

But because he goes into seclusion to cultivate, he misses the Investiture of the Gods calamity.

By the time he emerges, the Jie sect has been destroyed. Lin Xiao has no choice but to lead its remaining disciples to Flower-Fruit Mountain to keep cultivating and wait for the Journey to the West calamity to begin.

At last, on this day, Lin Xiao breaks through to the Great Luo realm, and his clouds of auspicious energy shake the Three Realms.

Sun Wukong: So there really is an immortal on Flower-Fruit Mountain! Why don't I just go ask him to teach me how to live forever?

Tongtian: My good disciple, I knew you were the one I had the highest hopes for! Go ahead and clean house. I'll hold off those two old geezers, Jieyin and Zhunti!

Jieyin and Zhunti: If we'd known this kid would be such a menace, we should've killed him on Golden Turtle Island back then!

Tathagata: Lords of the Buddhist faith, forget all that! How are we supposed to pull off the Journey to the West now? Lin Xiao says he's avenging the Jie sect, and he's already stormed into Spirit Mountain!
