Great Han: I, Emperor Guangwu, Just Want to Lay Low and Invent Things

My name is Liu Xiu. Everyone calls me a farmer, but I'm actually a bona fide inventor.

During the skirmish at Xiaochang'an, my fellow men from Chunling were trapped in a desperate situation. I got carried away and, with just a handful of guns, sent Zhen Fu's army fleeing in disarray like a pack of stray dogs. After that battle, I became famous!

At the Battle of Kunyang, facing a fearsome force said to number a million, I didn't even bat an eye. I calmly commanded a thousand Zhuge repeating-crossbow troops and showed the enemy what it meant to be pierced through the heart by an arrow. Corpses piled high beneath the city walls after that battle.

At the Battle of Wancheng, we couldn't break through despite a long siege. Watching the young men turn into old men before my eyes, I had a flash of inspiration: dig tunnels, build ladders, and make twenty Red Coat cannons. With a boom, I was stunned. The city walls had collapsed, and Wancheng was ours!

That's right, I'm the man they call Xiuer, also known as the Son of the Plane!
