Great Ming: As the Crown Prince's Grandson, I Just Want to Lie Flat

In the ninth year of Hongwu, the soul of a modern man transmigrates into the body of Zhu Xiongying, the Crown Prince's sickly son who had just died.

As someone who wants to lie flat, Zhu Xiongying fears nothing more than trouble, and being emperor means endless trouble.

To make Zhu Yuanzhang get rid of him, Zhu Xiongying can only eat, wait, and waste away, hoping that by completely giving up, Zhu Yuanzhang will choose someone else.

Unfortunately, before he even realizes it, Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Biao have come to regard him as the best heir to the throne.

Zhu Yuanzhang: My grandson Zhu Xiongying has extraordinary talent. He reorganized the cabinet, established an assembly, and led the slaughter of the Northern Yuan. He is the best candidate to rule my Great Ming.

Zhu Biao: My son Zhu Xiongying will surely be a man of the greatest foresight. Under his rule, Great Ming can become a legendary empire on which the sun never sets.

Zhu Xiongying: If you want me to become emperor, you might as well kill me. I just want to lie flat.

This is the story of a Crown Prince's heir who does everything he can to avoid becoming emperor.
