Frog Lying by the Well

Xiaozhi is a second-generation farmer from a remote mountainous area in Hunan. His parents were honest farmers in the 1960s. In order to get out of the mountains, Xiaozhi worked hard and finally found a home of his own in a big city. When he thought he was about to embark on a happy life, accidents and challenges came one after another. Xiaozhi is the epitome of many second-generation farmers born in the 1980s and 1990s. I hope to inspire more struggling second-generation farmers through this character story. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
