Journey to the West: I, Tang Monk, Am the Fiercest Bandit in the Tang Dynasty

Young Tang San transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West and becomes Tang Sanzang, who has just presided over the Water and Land Dharma Assembly.

A pawn in a great calamity, a sacrifice in a cosmic tribulation.

Tang San is utterly miserable.

Fortunately!

He awakens the Most Powerful Bandit System just in time.

All he has to do is act like a bandit to grow stronger.

And so...

Outside Huasheng Temple,

when he sees an old monk, who is actually Guanyin in disguise, trying to sell him a monk's staff and cassock at an outrageous price,

Tang Sanzang smiles faintly. "I want the stuff, but I don't want to pay. What should I do?"

At the foot of Five Finger Mountain,

after hearing Sun Wukong call him Master, Tang Sanzang strides over and slaps him hard. "What master? Call me Big Brother!"

In Gao Village,

as Gao Cuilan approaches with graceful steps, Tang Sanzang grabs her and says, "Miss! You have a great misfortune in store. Let this monk dispel it for you with my one-whip technique!"

Before he has even reached the Western Heaven,

Spirit Mountain has already gone up in flames!

The Tathagata: "What the hell! Where did this bandit come from?!"
