Hong Kong Island 1982, Rooftop of Kowloon Walled City. A handsome young man wearing slippers, with his left hand on his hip and his right hand turned upside down, declared to the world: "From now on, I will take charge of Hong Kong Island." Years later, every time new tourists take the ferry to enjoy the night view of Hong Kong Island. When discussing how prosperous this place is, every inch of land is valuable, and the tycoons are entrenched. Tour guides will all use the same opening remarks to introduce: "Welcome everyone to take the luxury ferry owned by Yip Group, and further ahead is Hong Kong Island. However, we Hong Kong Islanders prefer to call it Ye's City…" This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
