Champions! Our Dream

I'm not part of the soccer world, and I haven't watched the national team for over a decade. My most recent memories go back to the era when the Jianlibao Youth Team returned home and Milu led the national team to the World Cup finals. So this article isn't meant to get on the nerves of anyone in the “industry.” I've loved playing soccer since I was a kid. Back then, not many people chose to pursue it professionally, but we loved the game all the same. We had dreams, too. Our soccer dream should never have been merely to “break out of Asia.” It should have been to become “world champions.” It's been twenty years. Since reality hasn't delivered, let's make it happen in a novel.

This story is told from my personal perspective and doesn't involve anyone from the industry or any so-called professional content. It's simply a novel about a soccer dream! Thank you all for your continued attention and support!

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
