My Name Isn't Black Cat

He was once the elf most feared in the dark of night.

Cold, decisive, and loyal in carrying out every order.

No one knew why he had suddenly gone into seclusion,

just as no one knew where he had come from in the first place.

Would he now act recklessly, like a murderer,

or spread kindness far and wide, like a sage?

Everyone was watching.

Today, Toma was in high spirits as usual, continuing along the road to finding himself.

"What am I supposed to do?"

As always, he kept making rash attempts.

"Come with me. Help me gather material, and in exchange, I'll tell you how to leave your past behind."

The girl held out her hand to him. She was clearly exhausted, yet he could still sense the hope she truly felt.

This time, surely he wouldn't get it wrong.

He tried reaching his hand toward the light.
