Hong Kong Films: The Slacker Kingpin, Starting with Hung Hing

In 1980s Hong Kong, the streets were a chaotic mix of gangs and factions.

Chu Xiu transmigrated there by chance, starting out as a low-ranking member of the Hung Hing gang.

What should he do? Lie flat and wait to die, or cling to the future leader of Causeway Bay, Chan Ho-nam?

No need to panic. At the critical moment, he awakened the Slacker Sign-in System. All he had to do was sign in to receive generous rewards!

Big D: "Who goes fishing without a helmet? Brother Chu says you have to wear one when you fish."

Kwun: "Why was Yu born in the same age as Liang? Damn it, with Chu Xiu around, there's no chance I'll become Hung Hing's leader."

Chow Sing-sing: "What? Almost every gang in Hong Kong is about to bear the Chu name, and you're telling me you're just a lazy fish?"

Years later, at a ceremony where he was awarded the title of Justice of the Peace, Chu Xiu looked at the who's who gathered behind him and sighed with genuine feeling.

"Honestly, at first, all I wanted was to be a lazy fish..."
