I’m a Helpful Bystander, and I’ve Driven the Police Crazy

Lin Dingyuan obtains the Police God System, which makes him stronger whenever he solves a case. But as a member of the public, he has no authority to solve crimes.

No problem!

If he lacks official authority, he'll make up for it with enthusiasm!

And so...

He's the righteous knight in fugitive hunts, using force to stop criminals and leaving the police officers dumbfounded.

He's the eagle-eyed hunter in theft cases, catching thieves right in the police station and nearly driving the officers over the edge.

He's also an undercover client in vice raids, a surprise hero in kidnapping cases, and a truth-seeker in insurance fraud cases...

As he solves one bizarre case after another, "Mr. Lin, the enthusiastic member of the public," becomes the crime-busting hero netizens love to see.

The police are driven to the brink and plead, looking utterly wronged: "Comrade Lin, please, put your powers away. If you keep solving cases, we'll all be out of a job."
