If Only We Had Met Sooner

There is a kind of regret called meeting too late: wishing we had met before you were promised to another. There is a kind of missed chance called meeting too soon: I was born before you, and by the time you were born, I was already old. By the time your hair reaches your waist, I won't be able to stand up straight... Just kidding. I met the best you in the best years of my life, but the me from those best years wasn't the best version of myself...
