The Devil's Cloak

"Hey, Jikes, got any plans for later?" With his hands behind his head and his chair tipped back, King Aier muttered to himself.

"Oh, for God's sake, enough, damn it, King Aier. If you don't want to learn math here, could you please leave?" Del Lin, who was drawing on the blackboard, threw the chalk stub at King Aier and hit him right on target.

"Ugh! What a pain. That math teacher looks so old, and menopause must be right around the corner." King Aier pulled his desk closer, adjusted his posture, and sat properly in his chair.

"That's enough, King Aier. If you don't want to study, get out. Did you think I couldn't hear you whispering down there?" Del Lin stood with his hands on his hips, glaring with wide-open eyes.
