Dream of the Red Chamber: I Really Don’t Want to Be Emperor

Jia Cheng is reborn in the world of Dream of the Red Chamber as a distant relative of the Ningguo House.

After three years of making his way through the military, he earns the post of Junior Secretary in the Ministry of War's Department of Military Administration,

as well as Commander of the Eastern City Division of the Five City Military Command.

After returning to the Jia household,

he has no choice but to proceed cautiously at every turn to avoid being dragged down by the Jia family's fate.

He successfully turns the family's fortunes around,

and ensures that the Twelve Beauties of Jinling no longer suffer the fates they met in the original story.

But who would have thought that war and chaos would soon engulf the land?

To keep the Divine Land from falling, he takes up a horse-chopping saber,

suppresses rebels, crushes bandits, pacifies the Xiongnu, and wages war across the realm,

eventually ascending to the imperial throne.

Yet even with three thousand beauties in his harem, none can compare to the Twelve Beauties of Jinling.

Jia Cheng: "Empress Qin, I truly don't want to be emperor!"

It all begins when he gets to Qin Keqing first...
