Great Qin: I Become a Confucian-Hating Scholar, and Fusu Recommends Me as Regent

After transmigrating to the Qin dynasty, in the period before the First Emperor's eastern tour, Crown Prince Fusu repeatedly submitted memorials that defied the First Emperor, believing that as the eldest son, he was entitled to do so. In a fit of imperial anger, the emperor stripped Fusu of his position as regent.

To persuade the First Emperor to govern with benevolence, Fusu recommended that the seventh prince, Ying Zixiu, a fellow Confucian scholar, serve as regent in his place.

But he didn't know that, though they were both Confucian scholars, Ying Zixiu studied Fear Confucianism and was a disciple of Kongzi!

Later histories recorded that after Prince Zixiu became regent, Confucianism split into two kinds: Ying Zixiu, and all the other Confucian scholars.

"The Master said, 'The subjects the Master did not speak of were extraordinary forces, disorder, and spirits.' I'm talking to you, and you dare not answer? Then I'll beat you until your mind is a mess!"

"The Master said, 'When a friend comes from afar, no matter how far, he must be executed.'"

"My left hand is benevolence, my right hand is righteousness, my sword is virtue, my saber is reason, and my bow is propriety! Which one would you like to discuss with me?"
