Great Qin: I Was Comforting You, So Why Did You Take Me Seriously?

Ying Zi Xiu, a modern man, unexpectedly transmigrated to the Qin era and became the Seventh Prince of Great Qin, who had died of a high fever after taking an arrow meant for the First Emperor, Ying Zheng. After transmigrating, he had no memories of his predecessor, so everyone assumed the fever had made him lose his memory.

When Ying Zheng came to visit him, his former good-for-nothing son asked him about the past. Unable to bring himself to mention his son's old misdeeds, Ying Zheng simply made up a story.

"In truth, you are the son I favor most. You are gifted and wise, with the whole world in your heart. You have the heart of a sage ruler and are a rare talent. You are a blessing to Great Qin!"

Ying Zheng had meant these words only as comfort for the son who had risked his life to save him.

But Ying Zheng had no idea that Ying Zi Xiu would take every word to heart.

"Xiu'er, how did you come up with the curved plow, the three-piece warhorse kit, potato seeds, printing... all these things?"

Faced with Ying Zheng's incredulous question,

Ying Zi Xiu asked back, looking puzzled:

"Father, isn't it only natural for a genius like me to do all that?"
