I Found Money from a Ghost Bride and Donated It to a Temple

Ling Hao accidentally picked up a bizarre banknote tied with black hair and inscribed with someone's birth date and hour.

Wasn't this the legendary ghost bride's life-buying money, used to recruit a husband?

He remembered a meme he'd seen online.

What should you do if you find money used to buy a ghost's life?

Donate it to the Buddha on the spot and let him take the fight.

Ling Hao promptly donated it to the local earth god's shrine.

An earth god was still a god. Taking on one measly ghost bride should be a piece of cake.

Who knew the old earth god would play dirty?

He took the money and didn't do his job.

Seven days later, the ghost bride still came for Ling Hao.

"Hee hee hee hee, my husband, I've come to take you home."
