Showbiz: Actually, I Have an Older Brother

Idol superstar Zhang Tao is framed, his image collapses, and the entire nation condemns him. Overnight, he loses everything and faces billions in breach-of-contract compensation. On top of that, he is subjected to online harassment and develops severe depression.

When his depression flares up, Zhang Tao posts one final message: I love acting, but because I refused to go along with the corrupt crowd, I was pushed into the abyss. I’m not an orphan with no one to depend on and no upbringing. I have an older brother! My brother once told me that a person should live with a clear conscience. I have nothing to reproach myself for, and I have lived up to his teachings!

Afterward, he takes poison and attempts suicide. He is eventually resuscitated, but becomes a vegetable.

A month later, a man steps off a plane.

Zhang Nian: The entertainment industry is just a circle, and you’re all mutts in it, dragged around by me.
