Showbiz: I Actually Have an Older Brother

Idol superstar Zhang Tao was framed, his image shattered, and the whole country condemned him. In a single night, he lost everything and faced billions in breach-of-contract penalties. After enduring online harassment, he developed severe depression.

When his depression flared up, Zhang Tao posted one final message on Weibo: I love acting and have always been passionate about this profession, but because I refused to go along with the corruption, I was pushed into the abyss. I'm not an orphan with no one to rely on or teach me right from wrong. I have an older brother! My brother told me that a person should live with a clear conscience. I have nothing to reproach myself for, and I've lived up to what he taught me!

Afterward, he took an overdose and attempted suicide. He was eventually resuscitated, but left in a vegetative state.

A month later, a man stepped off a plane.

Zhang Nian: The entertainment industry is just a circle, and you're all the suckers I've been leading around by the nose.
