I, a Disabled Top Scholar! The Whole Nation Petitioned for Me to Attend Military Academy!

Li Ye's homeroom teacher asked him:

"Li Ye, can't you apply to somewhere else?"

"With grades like yours, you can pick whichever you want between Tsinghua and Peking University."

"Why are you so fixated on the National University of Defense Technology?"

"You don't even have legs. Wouldn't going to a military academy just make things harder for yourself?"

Li Ye, the top scorer in this year's national college entrance exam, answered:

"Because the country raised me."

"I've never had parents, and I don't even know who they are."

"If the country hadn't established orphanages, I might have starved to death as soon as I was born."

"The country raised me, so I want to help look after it in its old age, teacher."

"It's the best way I can think of to repay the country for raising me."

A short video moved the entire nation to tears.

And when people learned about the contributions Li Ye had secretly made to society, the whole country petitioned the National University of Defense Technology, all to make Li Ye's dream come true...
