Great Qin: Young Master Qimen Rebukes the Expel-the-Foreigners Edict from the Start

Ninth year of King Zheng of Qin.

King Ying Zheng has taken control of Qin's true power.

The identity of Zheng Guo, a spy sent by Han, is exposed.

In an instant,

the King of Qin is furious!

"If people from other states do not love their own state, how could they love Qin?"

He therefore issues an order expelling all outsiders.

People from other states must leave Qin at once.

Several men submit petitions asking the King to revoke his order.

The King of Qin is resolute.

Just then, Prince Gao angrily kills a beautiful concubine.

The King of Qin goes to the Eastern Palace and rebukes him furiously: "Do you know what grave crime you have committed?"

Prince Gao replies coolly: "This woman was from Han. Father ordered outsiders expelled, so why not include women? I merely acted accordingly."

The King of Qin roars: "Sophistry! Today, I will send you to serve in Wang Jian's army."

Prince Gao says: "The people of Qin have always been bold and spirited. Since Duke Mu, they have embraced the whole world, and that is why Qin is so powerful today.

"Shang Yang and Zhang Yi were both from other states, yet they devoted themselves to Qin.

"Why?

"I am the green mountain, and you are the pine and cypress."

After hearing this, the King of Qin claps his hands in delight.

"My son Gao has the spirit of our ancestors!"

Prince Gao employs Han Fei, befriends Meng Tian and Meng Yi... and eventually becomes an emperor for the ages.
