War of Resistance: I'm Chu Yunfei, and Defying Orders Makes Me Stronger from the Start

Overnight, Chu Yunfei, a top student at the National University of Defense Technology, transmigrated to the Second Sino-Japanese War era and became Chu Yunfei, commander of the 358th Regiment of the Jin-Sui Army. He threw himself into training his troops for the Battle of Cangyun Ridge, three months away.

Three months later, as the Battle of Cangyun Ridge began and Chu Yunfei's troops stood ready, he received orders from his superior: Hold position.

Just then, his System activated. Disobeying orders made him stronger. Chu Yunfei did not hesitate to lead the 358th Regiment in crushing the Sakamoto Regiment and stealing Li Yunlong's glory, making a name for himself in a single battle.

They told me not to fight the Japanese? They're invaders, so they must be fought!

Disobey!

They told me not to coordinate with friendly forces? We point our guns outward and take on the Japanese together!

Disobey!

They told me to be blindly loyal to the dictator Yan? My army belongs to the people!

Disobey!

The 358th Regiment became a brave and battle-hardened force, and Chu Yunfei became a fierce general whose name struck fear into the Japanese.

Li Yunlong: "I don't give a damn about the entire Jin-Sui Army, but Chu Yunfei's 358th Regiment is another matter. If we ever meet on the battlefield, I'll steer clear!"

Old Yan: "Chu Yunfei is the uncrowned king of the entire Jin Province."
