In the Soul Society, I Became a Captain for 500 Years from the Start

Allow me to give you a grand introduction to our protagonist: Kinoshita Genichi, an unlucky transmigrator, Captain Yamamoto's trusted aide, the first Kenpachi Unohana's kindred spirit in the way of the sword, Kyoryaku Shunsui's fellow slacker, Azashiro Soya's mentor, and Aizen Sosuke's life coach. He is also a rumor-monger, a plot-ender, a reformer of Soul Society, the guide who leads the overpowered Ichigo, and the one who sends Quincy King Yhwach to his grave.

The grand stage of the Seireitei is yours to take, if you've got the guts. The ironclad nobles, the ever-changing Shinigami, the brutal and deranged Hollows, and the Quincies lurking in the shadows all weave together in a fine show, playing out round after round in the Seireitei. By sheer coincidence, Genichi steps onto this grand stage and becomes a captain-class NPC. Since he can't refuse, all he can do is dance his heart out.

Our story begins with a Hell Butterfly. After five hundred years of wandering, old bird Genichi has finally run into a ghost.
