It Was Supposed to Be a Prank Show, So How Did He Ascend to Immortality!

A brand-new cultivation prank show is underway.

The show sets up a sage-like Taoist priest to pick a random person on the street and trick them into cultivating immortality, all on livestream.

Xu Nanxing is picked by the crew and agrees to follow the priest and cultivate.

The viewers laugh at how naive Xu Nanxing is, unaware that an accident recently granted him an astonishing talent for cultivation in the game...

The Taoist priest makes things up as he goes, but Xu Nanxing studies with complete seriousness.

As the show continues to air, the viewers suddenly realize that Xu Nanxing has actually succeeded in cultivating immortality. He even has a flying sword, and eventually ascends to heaven in broad daylight!

Viewers: We were told this was a prank show. How can people actually cultivate immortality? Turns out I'm the real clown!

Taoist priest: What the hell? I made it all up as I went along. How did he cultivate from that?
