Global Superstar: Starting Out as a Body Double in Wolf Warrior

Ning Qingcheng, a bit-part actor, had an accident while filming.

As he lay dying, he swore that in his next life, he would never dream of becoming a star again, even if it meant hauling bricks for a living.

But when he woke up, he found himself on the set of Wolf Warrior II.

And he was Wu Jing's martial arts stunt double.

Starting by completely outclassing Donnie Yen, Ning Qingcheng began his journey to becoming a kung fu superstar.

He was Tian Yangsheng, the cold-blooded, ruthless killer in Invisible Target.

He was the righteous, daring martial arts master in Ip Man.

He was also the savior who escaped the Matrix in The Matrix.

Several years later,

People magazine named the world's biggest star, and Ning Qingcheng was the undisputed number one.

"Ning is undoubtedly the greatest kung fu superstar since Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan."

"No, he's already surpassed those who came before him, and it's hard to imagine anyone who could follow in his footsteps. He's truly one of a kind."
